The staff was wonderful and the parking was easy. Nice view too. We had a suite. Unfortunately, the couch was disgusting- it was dirty and had no back support which made watching TV a literal pain. Another note - I don’t think I’ve ever seen a lower toilet. It was so low that I used the public bathroom off the lobby.

I really liked this hotel. The location was perfect for a college visit, it’s close to a few restaurants and grocery stores, and it’s a newer hotel. Unfortunately, I had no choice but to rate it as just average. When they checked us in, they gave us a handicapped accessible room. I’m not sure why—the hotel wasn’t sold out, and clearly we did not request, or need an accessible room. The shower was difficult, at best. It consisted of a hand held shower head that didn’t work. I wanted to call the front desk and make a complaint, but it was late and I was standing in a shower that didn’t operate properly. My other complaint is the noise. Someone was slamming doors, stomping hard and just being plain loud and insensitive towards other guests. The front desk clerks were pleasant and gave us toothpaste samples because we forgot some personal items, and the Bistro looked like it had decent/inexpensive food, but it wasn’t open. The location is also a little odd, but it seemed all the hotels on this street were the same. They did farther back, behind the restaurants and you really have to pay attention to where you need to turn. I would probably stay here again, but I would recommend checking to make sure you have a working shower, and apparently I would make it clear you’re not in need of a handicapped accessible room, because it seems they must put guests in one unless requested otherwise.

DO NOT STAY HERE, last year my partner and I stayed for a weekend getaway when we were abruptly woken up at 9am by two men banging profusely on our door. Screaming “GET THE F OUT NOW” and shaking the door handle so hard we were certain they’d break it down. Front desk security was called and when they arrived, the two men fled. Upon state police investigation, these two men were NOT in fact guests of the hotel. General manager informed us we’d get refunded for the night. We never did. It was such a scary and horrible experience. I wouldn’t recommend it to anybody.

We accompanied our daughter for Parents Week at Oneonta SUNY and booked the Marriott because the other hotels were already filled. The grounds and building are all well-maintained and staff is readily available. (Shout out to Scott, who answered a lot of my questions before we arrived there.) The reason I didn't give this 5 stars (and was actually considering 3) was because of the higher price we had to pay and also that there was no breakfast included. Other than that, it was fine.

We started a week in mid-June as we were in town for All Star Village tournament week. The staff were very patient and accommodating with our family. We requested adjoining rooms and a few other customizations and they came through! We had a team dinner in the conference room and this worked great. Special shout-out to Danielle at the front desk - she was always so helpful and friendly. Housekeeping also did a phenomenal job with linens and cleaning.
